About TokVanta
TokVanta is a free web tool for saving public TikTok posts: videos without the watermark, the sound as an MP3, and the images from photo slideshows. It runs in the browser, so there's no app to install and no TikTok login to hand over.
Why It Exists
Most TikTok download sites show a single button and give you whichever file they grab first, often wrapped in fake “Download” ads. TokVanta takes the opposite approach: it shows the post first, lists every version TikTok actually stores with its real resolution and file size, and explains the difference, so you know exactly what you're saving.
How It Works
When you paste a link, the server reads the public post the same way a signed-out visitor sees it on tiktok.com. It collects the video renditions, the sound and the cover image, then streams the file you choose straight from TikTok to your browser. If TikTok briefly blocks the request, a public backup lookup is tried. Nothing is uploaded to TokVanta, and media files are not stored on its server.
Two details make it different. The no-watermark MP4 is the stream TikTok's own player uses, not a copy with the logo blurred out. And because TikTok labels its sounds as MP3 while most are really M4A files, TokVanta converts them to a genuine MP3 when you ask for one.
What It Won't Do
- Open private, friends-only, deleted or age-restricted posts. Those are only visible to people TikTok approves.
- Ask for your TikTok username or password.
- Bulk-copy a creator's whole profile.
- Make a video sharper than the version TikTok keeps.
Respecting Creators
A public TikTok still belongs to the person who made it. TokVanta is meant for personal use, such as watching offline, keeping a recipe or studying an edit. When a creator has switched off downloads in TikTok, the result says so. Reposting or monetizing someone else's video needs their permission; the copyright page explains how rights holders can reach us.
Privacy in Short
TokVanta doesn't need an account and doesn't keep your downloads. The recent-links list under the download box lives only in your own browser. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Independent
TokVanta is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok or ByteDance. “TikTok” is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe what the tool works with.
